Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Philadelphia follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We absolutely loved the experience. The staff, the small group setting, the presentation, and the food were topnotch. We were fortunate enough to sit right across Chef Carlos as he prepared the dishes. He was a pleasure to watch. The staff could not be more attentive. Always checking in on us. But of course the star of the show was the food. Every bite felt better than the previous one. I could not tell you what my favorite dish was because they were all that good. Extremely fresh cuts of meat, seasoned perfectly. For those who prefer non alcoholic drinks, their homemade fermented carbonated beverages were the right blend of fizzy and sweet to cleanse the palate between bites. Definitely would go back again.

Overall this place was good! However it felt more like a one and done for me compared to other omakase places I’ve been. If you’re interested in a detailed review this one is for you! Pros: 23 courses which I have never seen for this price! Chef Carlos explains in detail where every fish has come from and what is in each dish and why. This is the most detailed explanation of dishes I have experienced at omakase which I appreciated. Theres variety in the courses and there is someone come around to each party to talk to you in depth about the dishes and drinks. Chef Carlos was great! He talks to everyone individually and is a great host. Definitely would recommend for folks who want more bang for their buck. Cons: The omakase started late, which isn’t too big of a deal for me but immediately I felt like the service was not going to feel as β€œluxury” compared to other omakase for the same exact pricing. There is just something off about the atmosphere and attention to detail here. The place kind of feels like any other restaurant instead of the exclusive expensive vibe that you would expect from paying $600 for two people. Although there is a lot of variety with the food it’s definit

Went here with my wife and had an absolutely unbelievable experience. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. I went with the sake pairingβ€”and wow, that completely changed my perception of sake. I didn’t realize how complex and good it could be… I’m officially hooked. The food and sushi were outstanding. Every single piece was fresh, perfectly prepared, and had its own unique texture and flavor. Honestly, I can’t even pick a favorite because everything was that good. Highly recommend. This place is special.

We celebrated a birthday at Ogawa Sushi, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Chef Carlos treated us to an exquisite 23-course omakase that felt both thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. Each course highlighted the exceptional freshness and quality of the fish, with flavors that were delicate, balanced, and memorable. The attention to detail and care throughout the meal made the celebration feel very special. We will absolutely be coming back.

We visited Ogawa Sushi in Philadelphia for their omakase, and it absolutely did not disappoint. I brought my boys along, and by the end of the night they said it rivaled what we had in Japan, which is about the highest compliment we can give. Chef Andy made the experience special. He was interactive, friendly, and clearly passionate about his craft. He personally introduced each of the 17 courses, explaining the ingredients, preparation, and flavors behind every piece. His attention to detail and enthusiasm added so much to the evening. Our server was also fantastic. She was warm, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire meal. One of my boy did not like the home made root beer and he just voiced that to me. Chef Andy call her over and they switched him to another drink, which was very nice. The combination of great service at the table and Chef Andy’s guided presentation made the experience feel truly immersive. The omakase itself was phenomenal. The fish was incredibly fresh, the progression of courses was thoughtful, and every bite was memorable. It felt like a culinary journey from start to finish, with each course building perfectly on the last. Ov
